Biostatistics course "Statistics in biomedicine - theory and application" (BIOSTATISTICS 1)
After completing this course, you will be able to understand statistical concepts and will be able to perform exploratory data analysis, understand your data, create tables and graphs, understand key principles of sampling, and select appropriate statistical tests of significance for multiple situations in biomedicine. You will also learn how to interpret the results of your analysis.
Specifics of our course:
-demonstration of practical examples with software
-ability to include own data in the course content
-lectures are accompanied by PowerPoint slides (materials are available to the student)
-individual work on examples included in every chapter
Course organization:
-individually or for groups
-online or at the client (currently, due to the epidemiological situation, the courses are held online)
-14 block hours (over 7 weeks) which is equivalent to one semester at the university
